Sometimes I really don't have words.
I honestly did not expect the Pinellas County School Board would vote to issue the 90 day termination.
It doesn't feel like any sort of victory though...it's just sad for everyone.
Perhaps you will manage to turn it around...perhaps not.
If so, I sincerely hope that you all learn from this, and that things can be better for all concerned.
When I started this blog, it was because the experiences my neighbors and I had at the hands of the staff members and then so many ( too many) of the parents were just so atrocious. It was essentially a blog to document traffic problems.
I would not have believed any of it possible had I not experienced it, witnessed, or heard about it from honest, decent people.
And yet no one affiliated with the school cared, or had any respect or kindness for anyone in the neighborhood.
No One.
Not the original Principal Jessica Clements.
Not the Kindergarten teacher who used to man the front gate, and who would so obnoxiously and dismissively reject neighbors appeals for help with the traffic. Not even after one gave her an orange vest for safety. His wife is the one whose ambulance was blocked shortly before she died by the way.
Not the second grade teacher who would yell at neighbors filming traffic.
Not the boyfriend of the third grade teacher who stalked and harassed this blogger.
Not any of the staff who would stand and scream and curse at neighbors.
Not the parent company when so many neighbors fences were torn down, and property destroyed.
Not the parents who would park in our yards, block our roads, block our fire hydrants, fight in the streets, threaten us, litter, etc.
Not the staff members or parents who tried so hard to literally destroy a person's life.
No one wanted to be decent.
We were simply expected to meekly cede to your decisions and actions, while you taunted and harassed us all, including the elderly, retirees, veterans, sick people, hard working men and women simply trying to live their lives freely.
Nothing mattered to any of you, but you.
So again, this started as a traffic complaint blog. And then, this blogger began to see there was much more than just traffic and nastiness wrong with this school. And then from there it progressed to document some of the problems with the management company.
As I peeled back layers, and discovered/revealed more and more, you all got nastier and nastier.
For almost two years, starting in September of 2014, I put it out here.
And you argued, insulted,harassed,denied...anything you could think of, against the absolute facts presented here...instead of stepping up and researching it yourselves.
Had any of you simply taking a few hours to research this school, and Newpoint back then, you would not be sitting here today. Think of what you could have accomplished.
Thankfully the Tampa Bay Times is still interested in honest to goodness reporting, and not tug at the heart puff pieces. My voice was heard.
Sad isn't it? And it never had to be this way.
