Comments

Oooh Oooh Oooh, received a comment today from an F School"Windsor Parent" today.

He calls me out for being anonymous, yet he himself remains anonymous...tooooooo funny.

"Bill-Windsor Parent" comment which I will delight in dissecting for you:
"Funny about your comment disclaimer... but this whole blog is a sarcastic troll account. You are behaving exactly like the people you are describing. Although I believe your claims are a bit inflated. Grow up. Why don't you stop being part of the problem and start being part of the solution. But no, its much easier to go online and post hateful things to a blog under the guise of anonymity, although you sarcastically say "Funny to note...no one seems to want to comment when they can't remain anonymous. Thousands of views, and no one comments ever...so very funny." Tell us who you are. Bring this out into an open discussion instead of hiding behind your keyboard. My name is Bill. I have no problem with you knowing who I am. Now let's see if this is truly an open forum for discussion and allow my comment to post. Good luck on your tirade."
1- Claims not inflated- photos, and videos, calls for service, emails/letters from various residents in the neighborhood, etc proved it,
2- PCSO did decline to assist. They said if we had problems call, but then when they saw the speeders and cars running stop signs they actually said they didn't think it was a problem. When they saw the road blocked, they said Emergency Vehicles would just push them out of they way. This additionally was the deputy whose wife is the assistant to the Principal ( look her up) so I'm sure there was no bias what so ever.
3- I have cited the verifiable reasons why this is an anonymous blog. You challenge me to identify myself as though there were a- only one of us working on this blog, and b- you remain anonymous. Not Fair "bill", especially when I am certain you are fully aware of what I am talking about :)
4- Several of us tried for over two years to open a polite discourse. Before we all started talking and organizing, we as individuals approached the former Principal in writing, via phone, through the school's board, and through the school board. Further we have contacted the county, but they claim they are still studying the problem, and have yet to implement any of the suggestions they have made.

And remember, my tax dollars go towards this school too. My neighbors and I are all as vested in this as the rest of the residents of Pinellas County, and this whole Charter School mess is something that matters. It should matter to you too. IF as you say, your kids go there, don't you want to know who is behind this school, where the tax dollars are actually going? The kids are supposed to be the most important thing, and what they have is a school that pays  A TON of tax dollars to a parent company run by shady operators. That should matter, especially when the promises they made to you parents were not met. They are an "F school, teaching the basic, county curriculum rather that the specialized curriculum their own website advertises. I think that matters.
Finally , "Bill- Windsor Parent"

You say put it out in the open and identify myself, yet you are still anonymous. You open a brand new account, with no personal info and then challenge me to say who I am? Double standard much?! That fits the definition of a "troll account" to a tee. Pot meet kettle.

Sorry if you don't like this blog, but, it isn't a troll account. It's anonymous. The picture's, videos, and facts posted are just those...facts. Facts which include harassment of neighbors, property damage, etc. It is also a fact that your school received a big 'ole "F" and now teaches the exact same curriculum the county offers. Genius!! However did they think of that?

We all also did bring it out into the open when we held the neighborhood meeting in front of the school with the County officials and deputy's ( one of whom's wife works at the school, and another whose kid those there- no bias, huh?) While we were standing there people flicked cigarette butts at us, drove by cursing at us in front of their precious kids, etc.

I suggest, if you are so offended by it, that you as a "parent" encourage other parents to have some consideration on the neighborhood. Stop jamming up the roads, stop blocking our driveways, stop blocking our fire hydrants, stop speeding, stop running stop signs, stop blocking the road when you are waiting turn into the school (stay in your lane til you can get in the gate), stop cursing and threatening people when they ask you to move your cars out of their driveways and off of their grass,  stop fighting and arguing with each other over parking and such. In general try acting like you would want people to act if this was in your neighborhood. That's all anyone is asking after all.

So, I guess we will put our names forward when we don't have to worry about the retaliation, or maybe when you put your name(s) and face(s) out there too.

So sit back, more is coming, and thank you for what am sure was a genuine wish for "good luck" on my "tirade".

This is the only anonymous comment I will address on here. In the future I will publish comments when people have real accounts and want to engage in real, genuine discourse. Hell, I might even invite you over for coffee.
