It's D-day for the F school

Well folks....that day we all dread has arrived. "F" school Windsor Prep is back in session.
It has been a lovely and peaceful summer, hasn't it? Or did some of you miss our streets being used as a parking lot, fighting parents ( off course one of this writers neighbors did see two parents going at it this past Wednesday during the open house for kindergarten and first graders...Classy), speeding, stop sign running, lanes being blocked, mail boxes being run over, lawns and landscaping being damaged, and of course the traffic back ups.

My favorite is when they block our driveways and fire hydrants. There's not much out there that can compare with the fun of not being able to back out of your own driveway so you can get to work or an appointment, and then having someone curse you out for asking them to move. Or the thrill of worrying that if there's a fire, the hydrant will be blocked, or worse, if there's a medical emergency that the ambulance won't be able to get through. Yeah...Good times.
But we must all remember, as so many of those lovely emails I have received have pointed out, our rights as tax paying, home owning, residents of this neighborhood are over ridden by the rights of this schools staff and parents rights to be classless interlopers.
I mean the rights these children have to an F quality Windsor Prep education is what really matters. That's what every parent strives for, right? So at least we all know its worth it, ha ha hee hee ho ho.
Yes, imagine the joy in the hearts of these parents every morning and afternoon as they sit in the traffic mash up. They can sit there, engines idling away, happy in the knowledge that their precious kiddos go to an "F" school, run by a questionable management company that's owned\operated by even more questionable people, teaching a public school curriculum, while the management company is taking in 7 million plus dollars over the next few years off of them.
The fact that "F" school Windsor Prep is one of the lowest rates schools in the state must send them over the moon.
It really excites you to see where East Windsor Middle School will stand after a couple years of similar management, doesn't it?
I simply can't imagine the pride in knowing your kid goes to a school that falls into the bottom 300 of 615 charter schools and 2,610 public elementary schools combined. That's in the bottom 12%. If you add all charter schools, 615, and all public schools, 4,323, well then you've dropped your kid into a bottom 6% school. How wonderful for you, and them!
Anyhow, if you have problems, take pictures to email me, and call the Pinellas county Sheriff's Office 582-6200, Sheriff Gualtieri's office 582-6201 or rgualtieri@pcsonet.com, Windsor Prep 475-1297, Pinellas Board of County Commisioners 464-3377, and Commisioner Janet Long ( also on School Transportation Safety Committee) 464-3365/fax 464-3022.
Let your voice be heard! Good luck tomorrow neighbors!
