Seems a few updates are needed....

Oh really? newpointeducation.com

Charter Schools Capital sues Newpoint Education Partners: www.pnj.com

NewPoint used Bay County funds in Pensacola Schools: www.newsherald.com
"...Newpoint was cited June 16 for violating Department of Education rules. An investigation by Adam Emerson, charter schools director, revealed that 80 items purchased with charter school program funds were delivered to Newpoint Schools in Escambia County. Sixty-five computers, tables and monitors meant for Newpoint Bay ended up in Escambia.
“This is a clear violation of CSP requirements, which restrict items purchased with CSP funds to schools that were awarded those funds,” Emerson wrote to John Stack, vice president of Newpoint operations..."
100%, perfect audits,right? www.newsherald.com
"... Bay District Schools provides Palm Bay and a new Central High School with its charters. Two year ago the Bay school board considered revoking Newpoint Bay’s charter because of financial discrepancies. Before that, the Escambia County school district voted to revoke the charters of the Newpoint schools in the area, citing problems with record keeping for student credits..."
Then check this out from www.myflorida.com... on the last page. Looks like there is a small discrepancy in someone's accounting. Look for the school with the familiar name listed under Pinellas County. I just know you will be shocked.
And I bet ALL these teachers just LOVE them www.weartv.com
"...Many Newpoint teachers are fighting for answers and their paychecks.
On Thursday, teachers voiced their frustrations with the Newpoint Charter School Board and wanted to know if and when they are going to get paid.
Nancy Salvato, now a former teacher at Newpoint Academy, said it's disappointing the school's management company, Newpoint Education Partners, does not want to pay last two months of their salaries. .."
How's all that for 100% creamy, dreamy, perfection?
